A few days ago, I visited the historic Hagia Sophia Holy Grand Mosque in Sultanahmet district of Istanbul, Turkey, which was converted from a Christian Church to Muslim mosque after the Fall of Constantinople to the Ottoman Empire in 1453 by Sultan Fatih Mehmet. Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror dedicated this magnificent construction to believers to remain a mosque until the Day of Resurrection.
